野草ガーデニングの仲間から譲り受けたキジョロホトトギス。
崖の間から垂れ下がるように根を張るこの花は、日陰で湿度が高い場所を好むようです。とはいえ、崖に見立てられそうな場所はないので円形の鉢植えに入れて高いところへ。
以前に、土を盛り立てて植えていたこともあるのですが、あまり適しませんでした。
そして、この花は環境変化に弱く育てにくいと言われていますが、工房やまざきの庭では10月に花を咲かせてくれました！
鐘形で垂れ下がり、かわいらしい花です。花びらは光沢を帯びており、花の内側には赤紫の斑点があります。

My friend gave me ‘Tricyrtis macranthopsis’ before. This flower is rooted hanging from the cliff normally, seems to prepfer shaded and humid places. However there is no place that look like a cliff in our garden. I planted it in pots. And put it on the higher places.It is said that this flower is vulnerable to environmental changes, and it is difficult to grow by hands. But, our Tricyrtis macranthopsis bloomed in our Garden.
